I've been dancing since I was one. The first lessons that I took were ballet. I was only two when I took them. I've been dancing ever since. I took a lot of others. My most recent dance lessons were from Dance Etc. I was in a play called Peter Pan. I wasn't one of the characters, I was an Indian from Tiger Lilly's tribe. I didn't have a name. I just danced with the rest of my tribe. (Which were other kids in my dance class.) They made it into a movie. Not a public movie, but a movie for the people who came to the play. I don't go any more. (It was last year.) Lauren still goes though. I still dance, but not in classes. I dance mostly at home.
I have a whole hunk of favorite songs. My most favorites are Club Can't Handle Me, Say Hey (I Love You), Brighter Than The Sun, and Hey Soul Sister. I have 24 others. When I say favorites I mean, like, dancing to them every time I want to dance. I generally dance to my favorites. For some reason I mostly like fast songs. I have all of my favorites on my ipod nano too.
Dancing fast to the fastest parts of a song is like having the time of my life. I wish I could just fly. Start doing stuff I've never done before. I just feel great! Like I can do anything. When I dance to slow parts of a song I feel light and floaty. Feeling as flexible as possible. Soft and quick. I love these feelings. They make me feel great. I dance every day just to feel good about myself. I think I dance good. My mom thinks I dance good. I'm going to try dancing for the talent show. Dancing is part of my life and I'm proud of it. I'm dancing through life with friends and family. What a nice life.

Maybe we'll have a little dance party at my house when you and your mom come to visit!
