Awesome childhood with awesome teacher

I have a wonderful teacher. She is a 3rd grade teacher. Wait scratch that. She is MY 3rd grade teacher. Last year I got a lovely teacher. My mom wanted me to get my 3rd grade teacher (Last year she was a 2nd grade teacher) last year. Why? Because my teacher is a challenging teacher, and in 1st grade that was just what I needed! I thought the work my fantastic 1st grade teacher gave me was easy. But now I have the teacher that my mom wanted me to get. Is it hard to be in a challenging class? Well it's not as hard as it sounds. But she's a great teacher!

The reasons why she's so great is because, she pushes us above and beyond. I'm learning long division and she says that even some 4th graders don't know long division!YIKES!!!
Glad I'm not one of those. Sometimes we 3rd graders can be smarter than some big 4th graders! I love the taste of victory! But usually the 4th graders are smarter. That's not victory.

My favorite subject in school is LUNCH! Why? Because by the time we get to lunch, I'm very  hungry. A lunch has 4 parts. I don't know them. My teacher should teach about the average lunch. But my teacher wouldn't do that. Who would? What my teacher teaches about is about writing, reading, (I'm already an expert at that!) math, (Mostly.) science and what's going in in the world. But I miss science because I'm in G.A.T.E. We do G.A.T.E. Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.(Our teacher doesn't want us to miss math.)

Back to the teacher! My teacher can be hard on us 'cause she puts us on the wall if we don't do our homework. She says that we should know by now how to turn it in because we're 3rd graders. (The awesome grade!) So I do mine at school while I can. Then, when I come home I don't have any homework.

I love my teacher, though sometimes she's rough.
I do it any way. I have to be tough.
I always get my work done I'm a straight A #1 girl.
My teacher can count on me. I'm as fast as a squirrel.

Great teachers are the best, aren't they?
